The recently-concluded 25th Taipei Innovative Application Show (TITAS) successfully reached out to a wider audience, breaking up the limitation of physical restrictions to develop more business opportunities. The month-long virtual event organised by Taiwan Textile Federation created business opportunities for more than 150 exhibitors from the textile industry.
The six major exhibition zones highlighted the diversity of products, attracting more than 70,000 views from 102 countries. The top 10 countries and regions with highest views include Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, US, Germany, China, Indonesia, Hong Kong, UK, and Singapore, Taiwan Textile Federation said in a press release.
TITAS also organised the Taiwan Textiles Business Meeting in which more than 40 international brands from 15 countries met with 50 exhibitors in more than 200 meetings. Products the buyers sourced the most are textile in athleisure, travel bags, surfing, cycling, hunting, running, skiing and home accessories in the field of fashion, outdoor, sports, sustainable, and personal protection textiles.
Following the success of the first TITAS Virtual, TITAS will unfold next year on October 12-14, 2022. The physical event will be held in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1. With avid support from the bureau of foreign trade, ministry of economic affairs and exhibitors in Taiwan, the event will further promote the visibility and market share of Taiwan’s textile products in the global market.
